Heritage Trail
The Chalgrave Heritage Trail was created in April 2009. The Trail uses existing footpaths and bridleways plus one permissive path. There are 5 information boards in place and printed leaflets explaining some of the history of Chalgrave from early man to the charter of AD926 up to modern times are available from either of the pubs: The Queen's Head or The Plough. Copies my also be obtained by contacting our parish clerk at chalgravepc@btinternet.com and sending a S.A.E. You can use this link to obtain a copy of the leaflet but it will print half size The Pond has also been improved and a bench with a back panel designed by the children of the parish has been installed. We are grateful to the Chalk Arc for funding this project.
